Some users may not be satisfied with the features of the native file-searching utility on their Mac. Intuos4 Drivers for Mac does add some additional features, but ultimately will add little to most Mac users' systems. For those who need an application to track the time spent on certain programs or Web sites, Intuos4 Drivers for Mac performs the job well, provided the user has patience in figuring out its controls and options. Because it lacked any kind of real help feature, our first impression of this free utility was not a good one. But after we played around with it for a few minutes, it proved to be a decent screen Intuos4 Drivers tool. Intuos4 Drivers is a Windows program that allows you to analyze Macintosh Intuos4 Drivers stored on a Windows NT server using the standard Services For Macintosh (SFM). It features automatic connection to the Macintosh servers (Windows NT running SFM) and to the Macintosh volumes. Other features include the recognition of invalid volumes (for example, when the corresponding NT directories are renamed or removed); the ability to highlight the paths containing Unicode characters not allowed by Windows 95/98; and the ability to display and modify the Type/Creator codes (signatures). This program will also display the type of Macintosh file (XPress, Intuos4 Drivers, Word, and so on), allowing a Windows user the ability to recognize and open the Macintosh file without a three-character extension. Intuos4 Drivers features both English and French languages.
